Boston Arts Academy Students Address HPV

PosterContest (1)Congratulations to the winners of the 2015 BPHC HPV Poster Contest from the Boston Arts Academy’s 10th grade class!  Boston Public Health    Commission will use these terrific submissions to make posters that can be used in their participating school-based health centers and health resource centers based in Boston Public Schools. The goal is to educate students on the importance of the HPV vaccination.  HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) is the most common sexually transmitted infection (STI). HPV is so common that nearly all sexually active men and women get it at some point in their lives. There are many different types of HPV. Some types can cause health problems including genital warts and cancers. Vaccines that can stop these health problems from happening.
